Church Weekend

Our church weekend is coming up in June. A chance to spend some time together and celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost.

Programme
The programme is very flexible and you are welcome to pop in and out. To get the most out of the weekend blank out some time in your diary and enjoy the time together! 

Fri 6th
From 5pm – campers arrive
From 6pm – informal games
7pm Local walk.

Sat 7th
From 10am – Informal games and activities – including inflatable assault course!
2pm Cream Tea
3pm New for 2025 -Treasure Hunt!
From 6pm – BBQ / Presentation of Mark’s Gospel / Live music / fire-pit

Sun 19th
10am – Worship Together – Pentecost celebration with baptisms!
midday – bring-your-own picnic

Find the site
Berkley Farm is on the right hand side as you travel up Snakemoor lane / Durley Brook Road / Durley Street. Look for the “church weekend” sign. Please don’t go into Berkley farm on the left hand side of the road – if you don’t see the sign you are in the wrong place!

Cost
Similar to last year, the costs are being covered on a give as you feel basis. Our December gift day brought in £1000 to cover all the deposits and we have a remaining £2000 to cover the site and activities. This includes the hire of the site and toilets, activities, cream tea and BBQ on the Saturday. Thank you if you’ve already given towards the costs of the weekend. If you are able to make a gift towards these costs you can make a BACS payment direct to the church with the reference ‘weekend’ or give in person during the weekend.
