Services in Holy Week

As we journey through Lent here are the Easter services we can look forwards to:

Early morning communion: an opportunity to reflect on Christ’s death and receive communion – Monday 14th April, Tuesday 15th April, Wednesday 16th April, Thursday 17th April – all at 7:00am

Maundy Thursday service: a service of Holy Communion as we recall the events of the last supper of Jesus and his disciples and we consider his command for us to “Love one another”.

Hot Cross Buns in the square: , Good Friday, 10am-12pm

Good Friday meditation: an opportunity to spend time reflecting on the events leading up to and including Jesus’ crucifixion. With readings, contemporary music and an extended time of silence. Good Friday, 2-4pm

Sonrise service: an opportunity to gather at the break of dawn to give thanks for Christ’s resurrection and all it means for us. Knowle Park Hill (the trig point) – Easter Sunday 7am

Easter Sunday 9:30am Service: A service with communion to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, defeating of death and offering of eternal life.

Easter Sunday 11am Service: A family oriented service to celebrate Jesus’ resurrection, defeating of death and offering of eternal life with communion and baptisms.
